MovementRX FAQ
What is it?
A program for those with health issues or chronic pain, who want to exercise, know they 'should' exercise, or have been told by doctors and other providers that they would benefit from exercise but are looking for structure, guidance, and supervision to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Who is it for?
Almost anyone! It could be used as a transition after graduating cardiac/pulmonary rehab or completing physical therapy, to help those managing chronic conditions such as heart issues, diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis or to simply to get stronger, improve balance, and maintain health as you age.
How it works?
You start with a one on one assessment where we discuss your goals and health history. This helps us create your individualized program. Once your plan is created, exercise is completed in a group setting, but each client will have an individualized plan to carry out that fits their specific needs. Programs can be 2-3 times each week, and each person has a designated time they will attend, which allows for accountability and structure.
How much does it cost?
The program cost is $80/month. This includes your initial consultation, exercise prescription, three supervised exercise sessions each week, along with adjustments and modifications to your program as needed. You can choose to continue the program on a month-to-month basis.
Where does it take place?
All consultations and exercise sessions will take place at our Agape Performance building which is located at 918 Viking Road in Cedar Falls.
